| Lore Raymond
A true cultural creative, Lore is always at the center of new and exciting ideas—whether it is assembling the impressive Tampa Bay delegation for the Creative Economies Summit with Maine's cultural creatives at the inaugural, RLS Open House, hosting popular conversational salons, or writing. She is also a marketing and public relations consultant to Studio.
Lore holds a double masters degree; one in Organizational Development from NTL (Bethel, Maine) & American University, and a recent Masters in Education from Framingham, MA. Her New England roots are deep as her father, a native son of NH, served with distinction as an Air Force Colonel who led the largest debriefing of Viet Nam POW'S. Lore has served as a Congressional Intern for a CT Congressman and was chosen as "Miss New Hampshire" for the National Cherry Blossom
Festival in Washington, D.C. Lore serves as a Chaplain at her church and is active in Youth and Creative Arts Ministries.
Lore's career path is diverse and includes marketing, training, education, development and program management with organizations such as the Winter Olympics, Patel Foundation for Global Understanding, Tampa; Eckerd College, St. Petersburg; Plattsburg, NY Downtown Development Association, and the Pinellas Suncoast Chamber of Commerce, FL. She has won several national awards for her business communication programs and also co-authored Florida's first handbook for "Creating
Successful Business School Partnerships."
Six years ago Lore visited the island of Roatan, Honduras for a two-week vacation and loved island life so much that she stayed for five years. Teaching internationally, traveling and living with her adopted Honduran daughter, Nashly (15), have all grounded her creativity and peacemaking efforts in family, community and international educational arenas. Her first book about this adventure is scheduled for publication in December 2005. Politically active, Lore's goal is to register
365 students who will vote for the first time in the 2008 election and works with KIDS to Vote. One of her life goals is to collaborate with Oprah and UNICEF to start schools where there are none in third world countries.
