Scott Stoll
For the past 20 years, Scott Stoll has lived in Maine where his life and work have found a natural companionship in the environment of forest and sea. He designed and handcrafted the Octagon Studio Space at Studio.
Stoll, a sculptor, works in mixed media and carves stone and wood. He also works with a variety of casting techniques including bronze. Stoll owns a studio and gallery space in Portland, Maine.
Stoll received a fellowship to attend the Julia and David White Artist Colony in Costa Rica in February 2004. He has accepted another one-month residency in Costa Rica for February 2005 to work on the design and construction of The Peace Path.
